Outposts

The marketing terrain can be tough, and we all need a bit of company on the trek.

So we get together every third Thursday of the month in pubs, cafes, and social spaces across Oxfordshire to swap ideas and resources, get useful recommendations, clock new work opportunities, spark debates, and share wins and cock-ups alike.

Find your nearest Outpost and drop by – or host one yourself.

Hear from happy campers

Lovely, knowledgeable people, relaxed vibes, and no bullshit - that’s every Outpost I’ve been to. Everyone is made to feel so welcome, and the meet-ups are fantastic for bouncing ideas off people, making sense of the wider marketing landscape, and honestly just getting out of the house and talking to someone besides my dog. 100% recommend.

Outposts have fast become my favourite way to get a quick hit of reassurance, energy, and inspiration! I often chop and change between locations, but whichever spot I pick the gatherings are relaxed, purposely small, and non-intimidating – and everyone is always super-friendly and kind. I’ve even opened up about my non-marketing woes, as the warmth of the groups is just so lovely!

My last experience of a networking event involved being pounced on within moments of arrival to invest in an artisan glassware start up. None of that here. No terrifying pitches, no making small talk while balancing room-temp wine and a vol-au-vent in one hand and scanning LinkedIn profile QR codes with the other. Just lovely people, brisk walks, cosy brunches, and good old chats that will spark ideas and leave you feeling lighter and brighter.
